1-2 days after submitting the online form on our websites, the Sri Lanka e-visa will be sent to you as a document attached to your email address. The visa number will also be attached to the message, with the help of which you will receive an official stamp in your passport during passport checks upon entering the Sri Lanka.
In addition to the visa, when you land in Sri Lanka, you will also be asked to present a return flight ticket from the country.
You may also be asked to prove financial ability for accomodation in Sri Lanka throughout your stay. There are several ways to do this:
• A printout of the current account balance in your bank account.
• A printout of a currency conversion confirmation.
• A printout proving that you own a valid credit card.
• Cash.
In the vast majority of cases, tourists are not asked to prove financial ability. However, we do recommend that you bring some kind of proof, just in case.
